Next is gonna be UNDERSIZED Calzaghe...

Wait for some to argue after the fight that Calzaghe was a bloated super-middleweight

Hopkins fought 1 fight at LHW in the beginning of his career. DLH had been fighting at 154 for two years before fighting Hopkins. The fight was at a catchweight of 158 and both fighters weighed in at 156. Hopkins is definately the bigger man, but it's not as drastic as you make it out to be.

Doesn't Joe look small. Has Hopkin's got chicken legs or something.

Even the biggest Calzaghe fan couldn't say that and keep a straight face.

Boy, he's about as manly as Herbert in Family Guy, but Mackie Shilstone has Hopkins looking ridiculous.

I'm confused, why are we talking about 175 when he fought Tito and Oscar at 160??

Weightwise no, but the strength disparity was massive.

That said, I'd like to know why people waste time criticizing Hopkins for making weight. We're supposed to think his attention to discipline, conditioning, and diet was "unfair" somehow?

Just saying that Hop's is ripped at 175, imagine the other 3 at 175

He looked alright. I don't think he carried his power, which was his main asset, too well though. I think he was put in with a couple of opponents who suited his style and made him look better than he should have done.

BHOP get's little to no credit from me for the DLH win. DLH clearly didn't belong in the ring with a legitimate middleweight.. and his gift victory over Sturm supports that. And BHOP get's even less credit for the fact that DLH was able to keep the fight so close before the KO. He doesn't deserve a whole lot of credit for the Winky victory, either.... I can name plenty of wins on Hops' resume that are better than these two.

Tito was a good win as he was still a solid fighter at 160.

I know. Why no one discredits Hagler for beating the naturally smaller Hearns is beyond me. And that is considered his greatest win.

Hoya looked like a midget in that fight. Hopkins is way bigger.
