I doubt Martinez and santos a year later will effect their age but i guess thats what you're hoping so Chavez can win an easy title huh? The rest i doubt Chavez can beat Angulo, Dzin, Williams.

Chavez Jr should fight the winner of the Angulo v Yorgey fight. I think yorgey will beat both personally. No way Angulo gets past Yorgey, too slick too fast and has decent power

Williams got an interim belt by beating Verno Phillips, I don't see why Chavez Jr. couldn't win a fight like that.

You just know the WBC or WBA would love to make some vacant/interim belt available to him for a price.

no. i really don't get it. people occasionally give him credit as a reasonably good fighter who could pick up a title on the right night. from what i've seen he's done nothing to convince me he's any better than the guy sitting behind me last night at red lobster. he's beaten BEYONG nobody. until he beats someone with a pulse (literally i think he beat up a corpse in his 9th fight) i give him no chance at anything

too be fair it doesn't take much to be "too slick" for angulo. he's not exactly a boxing master.

I don't think Chavez Jr. could beat Cory Spinks either...since I didn't see him mentioned either - and he's a champ at 154 (IBF).

I still say his best fight out there is a $ PPV event against the old De La Hoya....Kind of a role reversal for DLH in that one. He'll be the old man. The only difference is that DLH was a good fighter:think

You do know that Ronald Hearns was beating him up early in that fight? And Angulo is a lot tougher fight than Ronald Hearns.

Rhodes and Moore are good domestic level fighters and nothing more. To think they're anything more is deluded imo. Look at Rhode world title bids for conformation.

Man that guy is freaking stupid. Yorgey is no way a slick fighter. Thats like saying Mayorga beat Forrest twice cause of his slick skills.

:nono While i do think Chavez Jr is protected, i think hes already good enough to beat those guy right Now.Especially in a year and a half. This is what im talking about when i say englishman are delusional on the talent of the fighters. Its not like i think Chavez is a future atg or anything like that but i think hes already close to top 10 and in a year and a half might be a legit top 6 or 7 guy.
