    Interesting question because of your rules and the wildcard, LaVigne. Most people leave Lavigne off lists because he's so early. I don't. I have him at number 13 in my atg lightweight list. Which is either too high or too low, depending on people's perspective of that era. I like to see it as just right (ie. Give me a fence and I'll sit on it).

    He was a true savage. The Duran of the 1890s. Or, Duran was the LaVigne of the 1970s.
