Headliner is Mike Arnaoutis vs. Tim Coleman. Right now, an 8 rounder for "The New Ray Robinson". :think
Soloman's best defensive attribute is his herky-jerky rhythm but Robinson seems to have it well timed now (if he was more patient in his shot selection he'd be landing even more, as it is there are still some lunging misses). Robinson's best defensive attribute honestly is luck. Soloman has narrowly fallen short with some bombs. Robinson can't rely on simply pivoting...someone needs to teach him head movement. Closer round...what do you say HH, Robinson again?
Ray's habit of pulling straight back is cringeworthy. So is Solomon's refusal to follow up on each solitary connect with another punch...or reel his hand back in to defend...or to do anything other than let it hang limp.
Better boxing in this round from Robinson thought the headclash is a ****er. Robs settled down, Sols going single handed staunch bravado mode. Robinsons round ( 4 )
Even going into the fifth (on the all-important IB card)... Wow, Brad Solomon watches Robinson circle on the outside and jumps diagonally into his orbit catching him with a chasing hook that thuds. Solomon very picky with his power punches now and as a result looking sharper. Scores a clear knockdown that isn't ruled. (We'll cut the ref a break, as she's a girl ). Robinson gets tagged again at the end of the round. I'm giving that 10-8 to Solomon.
Robs getting square when in the heat, im just worried if i was wanting Sols that he leaves it to late as it only 8. Sols round, last was given to robs for being forward but hmm
Sols bulls in THEN lets off some great angles etc but from outside to inside he looks rough ( regarding the judges ) Good to see em risking 0's , it is.
