19 year-old Marvelous Marvin Sonsona dethrones Carita Lopez!!!

Not that have bragging rights since I did not expect Sonsona to win but I find it funny that some people whom before would not give the kid a chance against a hard hitting veteran are now saying his victory was against a mediocre aging opponent.

Carita Lopez is definitely not elite nor is he a spring chicken but he nonetheless earned that belt that he held and he is a tough cookie to crack. The fact that someone who could have been his son defeated him is something else in my books.

All credit to Sonsona. I did not expect this from him at all and thought that he was being rushed way to early by his handlers. He proved me wrong.

I never expected him to win this fight against a tough cagey fighter like Carita Lopez.

lol...i just knew i was getting inside your little head because i've never had a comment on the sonsona/lopez fight. show me where i've made a comment of the fight!

but just to be fair, congrats to sonsona. i thought he was being rushed too fast but good win none the less. now the hard part begins in trying to defend your title. who knows, he just might be the real deal!
