    its tough to appreciate how young he was when he was as good as he was. he has become a media train wreck but when cus had him under his wing he was unlike anything we have ever seen

    i guess when you get older you appreciate the athletes you see on television. football, baseball, whatever...

    but i'm 28 and i stay in the gym...but this kid was 18-19 years old??!!! good lord. if he could have kept it together...

    phenominal head movement, phenominal combination puncher, peak tyson is just about as good as it gets.

    he could have been the greatest heavyweight ever if

    cus had lived another 10 years
    he kept rooney his trainer
    he hadn't been an idiot with women
    he hadn't surrounded himself with complete and utter assholes and yes men.

    all in all, what tyson was and what he became is a tragic waste.
