Prime Tyson went the distance with fighters that were not half as good as Lennox was.

 

Don't think anyone would believe one of the clips showed his training in Tokyo. Of course, that must be impossible since Tyson wasn't training.

 

I think Mike Tysons entire boxing career and drive revolved around making Cus proud and becoming the champion Cus had wanted him to be. I dont think he ever did it for himself. He was told to go out and win, and thats what he did. I dont think he felt he had anything more to prove around the time he lost to Buster. After that it was about making money and nothing else. From 95-05 I dont think he fought for any other reason.
The Tyson that fought Berbick for his first world title would find a way to win against anyone in boxing history and there would be no stopping him. For Cus.... Any version of Tyson after that would find a way to lose against the likes of Ali and a few others.

 

*Tyson was a talent... an all time great when i shape... too many think that Tyson would run thru todays fighters.. Either Klitsko would be alot..maybe too much for Tyson... Makes me laugh to read what some of u guys put out there,.. like the Klitsko's would just laydown and die when Tyson appeared... funny.
*The last time Tyson fought anyone even close to what the Klitsko's r..it was when he fought Lennox... Tysons punches couldn't even hurt lennox..he litterally came out unscathed... sure, it wasn't young Tyson, but Tyson was still a badass...
*The klitsko's, Lennox, young Tua and Ibeabuchi.. and Bowe were huge/R talented heavies that woud either give trouble r destroy any fighters in any era... Tyson, as great as he looks..IMO, just too small.

You can distinguish pretty easily between the 15 year old Tyson and the 20-21 year old one. Even if the 15 year old Tyson looks older than his age. Tyson had a balding spot the video references from stress in 1987. That's 2 years removed from Cus' death. Plenty, if not, more of the video actually contain video of Tyson as a champion or close to being a champion when Cus had passed away. He died in 1985.

Any 2 seconds of that footage is more exciting than Wladimir's whole career!!!

We were way back in the lot..and who drives right in front..MIKE TYSON ina limo..limo stops,window comes down...Mike raises his fist and gives us a thunbs up..limo drives off.. kool huh.
