Harmless Halloween fun or in very poor taste in a dangerous sport like boxing?

You can't say the guy wasn't entertaining though.

Harmless fun. Criticizing that is like saying kids who dress up as witches are mocking the real witch trials that happened 400 years or that dressing up as Freddy Krueger is glorifying real serial killers.

With those ears he didn't need to dress up! I can't stand him.

He was usually an exciting fighter. Like AJ, entertaining, big puncher, left himself a bit open. Recipe for exciting fights.

One of my most satisfying boxing moments was seeing Barrera beat him and I won £25 quid too! I think he is a piece of sh*t.

Some loved to see him knock sub-par opponents out. Some were desperate to see him lose. But he entertained us. I miss the characters. He was a great fighter. Not an all time great. But a great. I think an all time great may be in the top twenty of his division. I have Naz at around 25. Fair play to him :)

His action glorified a pagan religion and therefore was definitely against the laws of
Islam. He should have been beheaded, or worse.

I was never a fan of Hamed but Boxing today needs characters and stars like this.
Canelo, GGG, Ward, Joshua etc are all very boring personalities

Yes, I think commentators enjoy getting a little sanctimonious at times.

For Hamed? How about kissing a Bible.

People like to state the reason he lost to Barrera was because he got rid of Ingle and used Steward who had no clue about his style, they forget that Ingle was in his corner when he nearly got exposed by Kevin Kelley.

Would have loved to have seen him fight Mayweather, with Naz at his best.

Okay everyone is gonna say Mayweather would win, but I dunno, would have loved to have seen it!

I think he is a bit underrated on here because of how his career ended, but either way, as someone else said, boxing needs entertainers.
