hamed had many exciting fights because of his style and his personality. remember the slug fest he had with kevin kelley? each scored 3 knock downs before kelley was knocked out. that was a war!

while i personally did not care for his entertainment style, boxing could use some fighters with a quirky personality to enliven the sport.

loved the bererra fight! when bererra was so far ahead in the late rounds, he slammed hamed's head into the corner, as if to say, "i own your own a--! i don't even care that i will be pointed for this!"

Can’t believe it’s already been 21 years since. And from what I remembered that entrance was more entertaining than the fight itself. Still, Hamed really was quite the showman in his day.

    Happy Halloween everyone.

He paid the price for his arrogance against MAB, and he knew then he was finished.

Harmless fun. He felt he was a treat for boxing, but got reduced to just a trick in boxing.

One thing Hamed obviously had was his weird angled power punches which could have definitely caught Mayweather out at his best, similar to Maidana.

You could see from the thickness of his legs especially his calves that his unusual power started from there but surprisingly he never did any roadwork at all.
