Where did you get this citation? Do you have an author or a page number? The language you mention is not coming up in any of my searches. The Minneapolis Daily Star (the real name of that paper) apparently wasn't published on October 21, 1956 (or any other Sunday), only the Minneapolis Sunday Tribune. And there doesn't seem to be any mention of the Sharkey quote in that issue of the Tribune.
My person collection. I have many hundreds and my cataloging is not the best. So it takes time to sort through. Note the audio.
Where did you find these citations and quotes? I just ran some searches and can't find either of those articles.
It’s a printout from an article I located at a local library while traveling on business in Minnesota. The more I listen to Sharkeys own words the more powerful his statements become.
Yeah, I've one similar from when I took a hunting vacation in Nebraska,my printout from Sharkey said," Romero Rojas hit me the hardest of all my opponents".Unfortunately I somehow mislaid it!
You must realize you are just a mere boxing fan and not a "historian" , and as such doors that will be opened to the latter will certainly remain closed to the former!
It's really the height of irony that you continually abuse the rest of us as being ill informed and lacking in research. Yet you fit this description to a T! Do you know on first encounter I found you an insufferable know all. Now I find you amusing, your pathetic quest for some kind of gravitas here is strangely touching in an absurd sort of way. So do please carry on with your quixotic crusade for credibility, there isn't anything more entertaining happening here at the present!
Who is this addressed to? Not me? Because if it is Id like to see my post saying this . Can you not get someone to show you how to reply to individual posters hysterian ?
