You should have just said that...

Walker? He wasn't fat, just sawed off. I don't see a roll of fat on him, huge legs.

Walker knocked out a similar sized fringe contender in De Kuh and held his his own with some good-great heavies.

Now Coetzee is better than De Kuh, but I'm not convinced his size alone is going to carry him over such an exceptional smaller man. I'm not gonna argue that passionately over it, but I'm not convinced Coetzee is as good as billed. He was terribly limited, killer right hand though. Certainly wouldn't have a problem with Coetzee being favored by KO.

I think Snipes vs Baer would be a vicious slugfest. Watching how Snipes got battered at times by Coetzee I'd have to give it Baer, but what a great fight that would be.

I like Schmeling's chances against Holmes.
That's a good match. I think Schmeling by decision.

I certainly don't. Holmes stands as one of the greatest and toughest boxers in the division's history. He holds nearly every advantage of Schmeling. I would even argue he at least his equal in power. He is far more versatile and more imaginative an operator, also.

Holmes is undoubtedly the greater fighter, but Schmeling would be a stylistic nightmare for him.

It would be well worth putting a fiver on Schmeling, if the odds gave a good return.

Just because he had a decent right hand doesn't mean he beats prime Holmes.

I don't find Schmeling particularly imaginative or versatile. He would be out-speeded, out-sized, out-gunned in punch variety and frankly, out-toughed.

I am not giving him a chance because he had a good right hand, I am giving him a chance because he specialised in dismantling technically correct boxers.

His style was nothing if not imaginative!

He fought out of an orthodox stance, but operated more like a southpaw in some ways.

If you came in with your jab, he countered it with his right hand, and then came in with a left hook to the body, or an uppercut.

His left hand often did most of the damage, but nobody saw what it was doing, because he kept them focused on this countering right.

His style was all smoke and mirrors.

Berbick was outboxed by a cruiserweight....S.T. Gordon.

But still, I think for the most part 81 kicks 31's collective asses pretty hard.
