Anybody catch the tale of the tape? Neither of these guys have listed stats.

Looks like a lightweight and junior middleweight.

AND THE LIGHTWEIGHT JUST BATTERED THE BIGGER GUY TO THE FLOOR!

A 2nd knockdown scored by Lane, this kid is absolutely relentless, and it's not like El Harrak was even doing anything especially stupid or surrendering his height. Lane just forced his punches through and put them together nonstop with perfect technique.

This kid's a GOOD puncher.

You gotta love young guns sacrificing their zeros early on like this.

El Harrak trying to smother the shorter opponent, who continues to come at him like a bull throwing straight, hard shots. El Harrak is tagged and stunned a few times but able to wrap his arms around Lane just in time to avoid a punctuation mark (usually a hook) on each combination. Lane hurts him badly with a body shot that has El Harrak less willing to clinch and adopting a more desperate strategy of stepping back and winging right hands at Lane.

Referee randomly jumps in and waves his hands in a break in the action.

    TKO2 win for Lane.

It's a shame it's clouded by weirdness, since he did a damn fine job.

El Harrak is pissed at the stoppage and he has reason to be. Tarver and Bernstein audibly disgusted.

Referee told El Harrak "get up, baby" while he was crying on the mat.

Whoever writes the ref's paycheck needs to ream him out for this.

Looking forward to seeing more of Lane. Feel bad for Said but his chin looks like a major liability...doubtful he'll prove as fruitful a prospect.

Shawn Porter vs. Jamar Patterson is up.

    This is Patterson's second outing since September 2006...meanwhile it's Porter's 9th of 2009.

Clever way to take an undefeated scalp.

    Round 1

Porter hurts Patterson with very first punch landed. Snaps his head back with a jab, showing very fast feet. Rips a triple hook to the head, blocked but still moves Patterson. Good jab from Porter. Nice combination punching, gets overexcited and a little wild. Their arms tie up and Porter clubs Patterson's flank before the ref calls for a break. Patterson trying to catch Porter on his way in and push him down with his longer arms. He throws a couple of inside punches, lands a few slapping types with the side of his glove as Porter slips away. Porter closes out the last ten seconds with his favorite combo, a lead right to the body followed by a quick double hook upstairs.

Wow... I did not know Porter already has nine fights this year. I know the quality of the opposition may not be stellar but that is still a lot of fights.

    Round 2
Patterson trying to introduce a jab. Porter circling and looking for a spot to attack. Comes in with fast hands and able to get off to the tune of four or five thrown (all hitting glove) before getting back out of harm's way. Patterson lands a pair of power punches in the first minute on the smaller man as he darts in and out. Porter begins to assemble punch sequences of half-dozen or more to get in and then moving his head well on the way out. They tie arms and both bang with their free hands until the bell.

    20-18 Shawn Porter
