    Li'l Arthur is controversial still 100 years after he retired. Could you picture Jack Johnson with his verbiage against Ali's B.S. against B.S. ? Well I for one will take a Joe Louis and his dignity pitted against B.S. artists any day...
    Class wins in the end....In his day Joe Louis was more than respected he was LOVED...

    Johnson hit Willard plenty and could not hurt him in 26 rounds. Dempsey floored and hurt Willard early in round one.

    Then Johnson says Dempsey can't punch as it took him too long to finish opponents and uses examples of how Fitz or Jeffries Ko'd their man with one punch. Oddly enough Johnson did not mention Dempsey's destruction of Fulton in round one.
