Wilder KO1. We have now the first athlete to take the sport seriously. Break the old tablets. A new paradigm has arrived.

The answer to a whole lot of these Wilder v. ATG threads is that he probably would lose but would have a reasonable chance of knocking the other guy cold.

The guys fighting out of a crouch like Frazier, Pattterson, and Dempsey would be interesting because Wilder could actually win rounds against them. With upright boxers like Lewis or Holmes, they would just outclass him or get caught.

Ortiz is a southpaw with a 84 inch reach. Bit of a difference there to Louis, call it 8 inch.

He doesn’t have an 84 inch reach.

No way does Ortiz have an 84 inch reach. I believe he measured 76 for this fight. But yes he is a southpaw but Louis had a magnificent jab

How about Wilder vs Ali, with Ali being 37?

I'd pick the 2018 Wilder over the 1951 Louis.

You measured it? BoxRec says he has so I'll go with that.

I seriously believe Wilder would knock Ali out at that stage.

Well, it was measured two days ago as much less.

Showtime said Ortiz has a 78" reach, they measured it. 84" was fantasy.

If i were a betting man I'd say Ortiz has more than a 2 inch reach advantage on Joe Louis.

At this point, Wilder could prove to be too much for the Brown Bomber. A prime Brown Bomber I think tastes the canvas, but counter punches his way to a stoppage win.

You think? If Louis tastes the canvas he's eating it for a solid 10 mins if you ask me.
