But Wilder is athletic. He would dunk over Baer.

Prime Louis would have a much better shot, if Louis from schmeling 2 shows up then it' louis wins and would be one hell of a fight, if the old louis that fought marciano came up then joe would be knocked out. just watched a video today where they asked Shannon Briggs who would win between Deontay and joe louis, Briggs said Louis cause they made them tougher back then.

Not a breakdown, but a hype video to keep the conversation going.

Interesting that people didn't even think he would be a HW

While I have little interest in comparing Louis to Wilder (seems obvious to me that Louis ought to be heavily favoured) Reznick's videos are always worth watching whatever the subject matter. You'd probably be able to make drying paint seem interesting. :applaudit:

He's a freakin' giant. Jack Johnson "The Galveston Giant" was a hair over 6 feet tall with a 74" reach weighing 190. That makes Wilder a Giant.

Other than that, Wilder is really growing on me.

Using Johnsons boxing nickname as your reference? lol
Remember Willard? People were exposed to modern SHW sizes back then too.

Willard was 6'7 259 pounds in his fight with Frank Moran who was 6'1 205 pounds in 1916

    Wilder is the real deal.

6’7 incredibly long reach, great jab, deadly right hand, very unorthodox , fast hands, throws punches at all angles. Knows how to use his length, and he has a lot of heart and toughness

Wilder and Joshua are athletic freaks who would be too much for most pre 1980 heavyweights to handle

The winner of Wilder vs Joshua moves into my top 15 all time

If you can deal wit Wilder`s jab you will beat him all he is, is power and reach, Louis took out bigger fighters jabs then KO`d them I think he would do the same here plus I think he would be too inactive as Louis picked up points while stalking.

I'd pick Louis to get off the deck to stop Wilder.

I wish we could see footage of the Wilder Gassiev sparring sessions.
Would be closer to any of his fights to this matchup.
