Who do you have in this instant classic?

Clear advantages to Burger Boy, in height, and reach

    Power about equal

We will have to give heart, agility, chin, stamina, defense, and most all intangibles to Marciano.

How do you see this playing out.. You can give 2 different answers, 15 or 12 round fight, of course..

12 or 15, Rocky destroys this fraud.

Bob Fitzsimmons said it best over a century ago - "the bigger they are, the harder they fall."

In Wilder's case, with his super-fragile glass jaw, this will happen quickly and brutally.

Marciano was in an era when they had started taking PED's.
Marciano however would be a modern day light heavyweight.

Marciano wasn't exactly the most skilled. I really believe he beats everyone in history at Light Heavy and lower.

Marciano had the best stamina and grit I've ever seen in a boxer.

I'm no Wilder fan but truth be told as formidable as Rocky was he is at a massive size, weight and reach disadvantage here. Absolutely massive.

He was only 5′10½″ compared to Wilder's 6′7″

    He had a 68″ reach whereas Wilder's is a staggering orangutan-esque 83″

And he only weighed about 180-190lbs compared to Wilder's 225-228lbs

So baring all that in mind, and even though I freely admit I'm not a fan of Wilder

Rocky via savage highlight reel KO1

You do realize rocky would be a small lhw, right.
He would get pounced on for 12 or 15 rounds. The only real question that needs to be thought about is can rocky actually take a true hw punch for more than a couple rounds

Haymon's on the phone trying to arrange it for Wilder's next defence as we speak. Word on the street is he's having second thoughts about it as he's not quite sure his boy is ready for a step up in class of that magnitude yet lol

Marciano wouldn't be a HW today.

And let's just say they were fighting, which rules does OP suggest they are using? Which era? Smaller gloves back in the day, along with 15 rounds for championships. Big difference.

You could also get away with what many today would call "dirty boxing tactics" back then as well. Ali's famous holding behind the head with 1 hand while punching you with the other is illegal today for example.

I'll go with the Rock if you're using old school rules. And there were BIG heavyweights back in history too. Primo Carnera for example. Same era, Max Baer wasn't exactly short at 6'4" either. I know this is earlier, but you can find "big guys" in any era you want to look at.
