The Johansson that punched the title off of Patterson vs the Foreman that slew Frazier. That Ingo bingo might cause Foreman to end up like Eddie Machen.

I doubt Ingo would floor George even if he landed his best shot. I don't think he hit any harder than Frazier,Morrison, or Cooney.I think the Swede may very well react the same way he did when he saw Ed Sanders in the opposite corner at the Olympics.
I'd also pick Lyle to destroy Ingo.

I don't know. Ingo knocked out Eddie Machen inside a round. It took Frazier 10 rounds, and Machen was much older and not nearly the fighter he once was against Joe.

Also, Ron Lyle didn't really destroy anyone. Manuel Ramos went the distance with him. Gregorio Peralta went the distance with him. Oscar Bonavena went the distance with him. Jimmy Ellis went the distance with him. Joe Bugner, Scott Ledoux and Stan Ward went the distance with him.

Foreman beats Johansson. But Floyd Patterson and Eddie Machen weren't easy to stop. Ingo demolished them.

Foreman-Johansson might be a real barn burner.

That Sonny Liston had boxed Floyd Patterson in good time (several years before it actually happened); Ingemar Johansson would never be HW Champion. So the fake champion Ingemar Johansson (I'm not disputing Johansson's win against Patterson, but the general scenario) has no chance against the real champion George Foreman. I rarely if ever predict in which round the fight would end, but in this case I could predict a possible KO1 scenario. If Frazier lasted two rounds...

    Shavers,Blin Garcia,Mathis?
Curtess Sheppard ko'd Joey Maxim in1 round, Maxim comfortably outpointed him twice.
Mike Dokes stopped Mike Weaver in1 rd,then had to go the distance in the rematch to get a draw.
It might be telling that Ingo would never honour the rematch with Machen? I don't think Ingo has the chin to hang with George.

224 pounds of Foreman destroys 196 pounds of Johannsson, Ingo isn't winning the bingo on fight night.

Ingemar Johannson had a style that I’m afraid would play right into the hands of Foreman. Can’t give Ingo much outside of a puncher’s chance and a very small one at that

Why would it be a handicap match?

I always remember the right hand Ken Lakusta uncorked that staggered George.

Also, Johansson had good feet and worked behind the jab. He was more of a counter-puncher, until he had his opponent hurt.
