Could the unrelenting Frazier beat this athletic, intelligent master?

The Eddie Machen that Smokin Joe Frazier destroyed in 1967, was well past his prime years, more of a learning stepping stone for Joe Frazier. The 1960 edition might prove a bit more competitive, Eddie went 12 rounds with Sonny Liston on Sept 7 1960, and lost a unanimous decision. He took Liston's best, Machen might be able to take Joe's best here, as in 1966 Frazier was still developing as a professional fighter, and in that same year he was floored twice by Oscar Ringo Bonavena on Sept 20 1966, but survived to score a win on points. Joe will be having difficulty early against the slick Machen, but Joe will find his groove as the fight progresses, especially landing his signature left hook to the body of Eddie. Joe wins a close one on points.
