July 31, 1976. Leonard's 6th and final fight of he 1976 Olympic Games. Sugar Ray Leonard (USA) vs. Andres Aldama (Cuba)in the Lightwelterweight Divison final. Many observers believed that Aldama would win because he had recorded 5 straight KOs to get to the finals. During the fight Leonard would record two standing eight counts and one knockdown. The win represented Leonards 145th amateur victory.

George Foreman commentating with Cosell. Leonard's footwork is great.
