    I've sometimes wondered whether there was a brief sliver of time in the later 70s when he was the best heavyweight in the world. By a very narrow margin, true, but I think that time might have been there.

    I made a Sonny Liston thread. It got deleted. This forum has an agenda against appreciating this man. And I do not support that. Liston by KO or something that should be that but technically isn't.

    Yeah, that's where one guy decides not to punch anymore because if he did, the other guy would be able to knock him out, and they should just go ahead and call it a STKO or spiritual technical knockout.
