Where is the agenda in saying you might know as much about Sonny Liston as the guy who published an interview with Sonnys ghost?

Either you do or you don't. Where's the agenda buddy?

 

Well I have seen a lists published where Sonny was listed bellow Patterson. Imagine that!

I think you are being over sensitive. Sonny was a great fighter for sure, but great fighters do lose the odd fight in their prime even if they win a return bout. Sugar Ray Robinson won and lost titles a few times. There is nothing wrong in saying Sonny wins a series of fights with Ingo but could feasibly lose one time.

Not that a fighter needs to be in a top ten list in order to be great, It is however, well documented that Sonny was not routinely in any top ten lists for a generation who knew him. Surprisingly Sonny is entirely absent from a great many published top ten lists before the 1980s.

 

You don't like that I can question the stuff you have faith in. I don't think you like anyone you disagree with and most of the time you can't understand what you disagree with. Nobody has insulted you. It's not rational.

 

Nothing sly about posting an interesting contemporary article demonstrating Ingmar Johansson thoughts on Liston ahead of his first fight with Patterson.

 

I welcome you to quote anything I have said that is remotely against Liston on this thread.

It's always different to look at a moment in time without hindsight of knowing.

 

My history is that bell ends like you and swag keep thinking it's "anti Liston" to unearth an interview with Ingo Johansson.
