You did mention last twenty five years earlier but Foreman is from the Ali era he just walked into another era, and the Ali straight is from the Ali era obviously , joe Louis threw short sharp hooks as well and yes wilder has got some whip on his punches but to be honest he’s not your typical modern heavy, they seem to be bulkier and heavier,or muscle bound, slower if anything , other than his lack of skill I would put him more in the old fighters type camp than now. I have looked it up it’s very hard to judge 40-50 year old grainy footage with today’s hi tec graphic stuff but there is no way I will be convinced that heavyweight s from today throw punches better or faster than the old fighters on the whole, of course there are exceptions like in any era but like I say one mans rocks are another mans diamonds. And as far as this thread is concerned I think it’s ran it’s course, I think Ali whoops wilder, you think wilder knocks him cold let’s leave at that what do you reckon?

Wasn’t there a similar Ali vs Joshua thread not so long ago that also seem to drag endlessly on and on? Seems to be no sign or mention of it since Joshua lost. I suspect this thread will go on and on as well until Wilder also suffers a defeat whenever that may be.

I just can't see Wilder touching Ali. Different class of boxers.

    Prime Ali = A+ Speed, A+ Stamina, A+ Footwork, A+ Heart & Toughness, A+ Head Movement, A Boxing IQ, B Power

    Prime Wilder = A+ Power, A Speed, A Chin, A Heart & Toughness, B Stamina, C Footwork, C Head movement, C Boxing IQ

Wilder's main problem is his punch technique imo. It's pretty awful for a guy of his level. Real good fighters would exploit that big time with counters.

It's definitely not an A level chin. A level chins are left drooling by Luis Ortiz and rocked bad by Duhaupas, Molina or Spzilka.
They also aren't dropped by Sconiers or Nichols
I'd say it's better than that.

Ali's stamina could be inconsistent, but at his best it was 'A'.

Wilder's chin seems solid. God knows he's been hit enough.

Gave his stamina a 'B' because he was gassed after throwing combo vs a fat 2 year lay off Fury despite only being 209 lbs. Ali could dance and move around the ring for 12 rounds.
