LOL! Ali was bigger than David Haye and with a better chin and more skills yet not gonna be able to be a serious heavyweight in 2013?
    What a ****.

Dear fake ass troll ***** mother ****er,Glover
A cruiserweight weighs under 200 pounds. Ali was over 200 pounds for most of his career and was 6'3". Not a cruiser. So that argument is done.
Haye has had 7 fights with men over 200 pounds! Ali had nearly 40.
Ali fought 2 men as tall as 6'6" and fought men as heavy as 256 pounds.
    Ali beat Foreman,Frazier,Patterson,Liston,Cooper,Spinks,Norton.
Haye beat Monte Barrett,Audley Harrison and Dereck Chisora. LOL

Hmmm, this is interesting. Neither fighter has taken on anyone like the other. Ali never took on anyone so tall, and even though I think Ali has the better jab, Klitschko's height and reach would make the jab contest competitive. Klitschko's power could also be an equalizer in such a bout.

However Ali definitely has the speed and reflexes that will give Klitschko all sorts of problems with establishing his jab. Klitschko has not fought anyone nearly as mobile or as fast. Ali would also be much better skill wise than anyone Klitschko has fought.

I would give Ali the advantage in such a fight. I think his speed and reflexes would give him the advantage in establishing his jab and flustering Klitschko. I think Ali would be able to time his jabs and get Klitschko to lead. This would allow Ali to sit back and counter Klitschko all night long. I don't think Klitschko has the versatility to lead or break Ali down in such a fight and he would be hitting air all night long. I think Ali also has the advantage of being able to fight more versatile and mobile athletes in his era. I thin Klitschko would seem like a stationary target for him I think Klitschko could have a few moments and even hurt Ali, but I think he would be lucky to catch him.

Vlad by decision. He will pick up where Ken Norton left off, outjabbing Ali, backing him up, and punching him in the cranium against the ropes.

I beg to differ-. Mature Wlad would have scared the daylights out of Ali-and that's what boxing is all about-fear and the unknown- which affects your performance. No matter how experienced you are when you are hit with a major punch fear changes everything-Ali may have faced that fear against Wlad-Foreman never connected, Frazier was a cruiserweight
Ali never was hit as hard as Wlad can bring. All the dancing goes out the window when you are caught open with a good one.

Ali would have feared Wlad?

Who's to say Wlad would have coped with Ali's footwork?

Who's to say he'd have got caught with a good one?

There's lots of guys like Haye who he couldn't catch.

    LOL...

What fighter has Wlad been in the ring with who's even remotely on Ali's level or nearly as fast?

I have a good sense of humour and can take a joke, but you are just been disrespectful.

I bet you've never been in a boxing gym in your life.

I base this on the complete rubbish that you constantly post.

If you'd ever been in a real gym, you'd never call Floyd Patterson or anyone else a bum.

So what if Cooper and Frazier knocked down Clay?

    1. He got back up.

    2. It doesn't mean that Wlad would have knocked him out.

We're debating a hypothetical match up with Ali from 1967 at his peak.

There's nothing whatsoever to suggest that Wlad could have coped with Ali's footwork.

Wlad is supposed to be prime now, and Haye's movement frustrated him a lot.

So how on earth would have coped with Ali darting in and out of range at blinding speed?

It would have been a nightmare for him.

Ha! You refer to his dancing as though he did it because he had ear phones in, and was keeping himself entertained.

His dancing kept opponents off balance, and it kept him out of danger, and he was able to time people and make them miss etc, while coming in with the jab and fast combinations.

Haye frustrated Wlad with minimal movement, yet Ali's dancing would have counted for nothing?

    Ok.

    :rofl

Ali was the best in a legendary era.

Wladimir didn't go unscathed in one of the weakest era of all times.

    Ali swam with sharks.
Wlad is swimming with rubber ducks and baby seals, and still got his ass knocked flat out by some of them, including a part time golfer.
