And the last time I checked GEORGE was getting dropped and retired by the BIRD like YOUNG and NORTON was getting KOed by every puncher he faced and JOE was getting almost stopped and given gifts against pathetic talents like BONOVENA ! LISTON also had his jaw cracked and lost to a lightheavy ! Yes VLAD beats any of these guys !:deal And arnt we talking about at there respective bests ?:hi:

    Very difficult fight to predict

Wlad is just fecking huge. It would be seriously difficult for Ali to get past that jab, he couldn't win on the outside

p4p Ali is obviously way better, but giving up 40 lbs is pretty difficult

Times move on. Wlad may not be rated as an all-time great, but he certainly stacks up well head to head, there is no doubt about it. The same as Lewis, who is usually underrated on ATG lists. He would waste most of the old guys I'm afraid, and it's pure nostaligia that prevents people from using their brains

well yet again you have made an ass out of yourself boxing history lesson, i compared the division now to when ali was fighting ask anyone what the better era was im sure they will agree with me.

fraziers all action style would have taken him to the inside where he would have been able to land his left hook on wlad and introduced him to his best friend MR Canvas.

samuel peter is similar height and fight with powerful left hooks, samuel peter knocked him down 3 times if wlad was so fast would he not have gotten out of the way of his slow punches by the time sam peters throws a hook another year of his life has past by.

now take a relentless fast target with much better boxing skills, evasiveness and good durability and you get a KOd wlad.

Yeah, the same Wlad that was floored 3 times and fought a life and death match with Sam Peter is going to even have a chance with Ali, I dont think so. Ali would play with Wlad and frustrate him into submission, and just when the times right he will unload on the glass chinned Wlad, probably in the 7th or 8th round when Wlads spent.

Wladimir Klitschko TKO 6. He'd be troubled by Ali's movement, but his jabs would be landing at will on the younger version of Ali and the right hand would follow, seeing as his movement and timing/speed is 10x that of Zora Folley, who easily timed right hands on Ali.

To suggest that Ali is just going to obliterate Wlad just shows how people put ATG's on a pedastool without any serious analytical analysis of either fighter.

  9. CO-SIGN:yep especially in a 15 rounder Ali had superior stamina, Wlad would run out of gas late and Ali would slam that weak jaw of Wlad until he went to sleep..
Ali was in the ring with Foreman and Liston, and Frazier those guy's had a helluva lot more power than Wlado..

i think that ali would win late on tko or by decision, wlad has never faced anyone with the speed of ali, he does well at stopping people in the division atm but in a head to head fight against ali hes not fightin an average fighter, i just dont think he has the skills, he certainly wont win on points against ali because his stamina would go especially if it is over 15 rounds, wlads only chance would be to KO ali and i really cant see him doin that ali had a very very good chin, it also seems popular to dismiss older fighters on the argument technology had advanced so have sportsmen, which is not the case. ali fought alot of fighters who hit just as hard if not harder than wlad.

ali broke his jaw against norton but kept going even though he did lose i know, but i just cant see wlad stopping him.

I think he probably would say that, yes...remember he thinks WALD has a better chin than Holyfield :rofl :rofl :rofl

That's the level you're dealing with, just remember that and you'll be fine.

The young Ali IMO would have trouble if Klitschko connects. Remember Ali was at 195 lbs. and down several times in his first career and he almost lost vs. B-level fighters like Doug Jones or Henry Cooper. Klitschko favourite IMO to win on TKO based on strenght and modern athlethe aspect, but the 1972-1974 Ali would be experienced and big enough to avoid clean punches and wear Klitschko down.
