agreed. this thread is nuts. imo, there a lot of people overestimating and underestimating wlad.

people who keep saying he lost to a golfer, brewster, etc, are short-changing him. It is clear to any objective boxing fan, he is clearly a better overall fighter. He knows his weaknesses and maintains tremendous discipline by always keeping a certain distance between himself and opponent. see brewster 1 and 2 to compare the differences.

as for his stamina, see the scam cheater fight. :yep he moved the whole 12 rounds, got off the deck 3x, letting loose over 500 punches and landed that devastating hook in the last round. 70+ punches per round against brewster in the rematch and wasnt tired at all, etc.. his stamina and conditioning is tops in the division. case closed

his chin will never be great, its probably in the C range but his stalking style helps keep him away from big punches. he barely gets touched now. peter's best punches landed on the back of his head. there is no way he will get knocked out early by anyone anymore. he stays away and uses that left hand to maintain that distance.

that being said and being a big fan of his, he has a lot to prove. he needs to clean out the division and get more quality wins so there is more substance to these arguments. he would trouble ali, no doubt about it. Show me another 6'7'' guy with those skills, handspeed, and foot movement. However, Ali at this point imo would figure him out and squeak out a very competitive UD 7-5ish. Ali has so many proven intangibles u cannot help but favor him
