    Ali vs
    Max Schmeling
    Max Baer
    Primo Carnera
    Jack Sharkey
    Billy Conn
    Tony Galento (1930s David Tua)
    Jersey Joe Walcott

Could the 71-74 version of Ali go undefeated?

Ali clears, Schmeling or Walcott probably present the most challenging fight out of the bunch. Sharkey might cause some trouble too.

No Max Baer or Galento to give him problems?

Honestly after 76 there’s a good chance he drops a decision to a few of the dudes on that list.

I feel like Two Ton, being the saint that he was, would recognize Ali’s reduced state and let Ali go 15 with him. Like a pro would an amateur.

Ali never beat a 6'7 260 pound giant like Primo Carnera. Ali would be dwarfed.

Ali has troubles against Sharkey, Schmeling, and Walcott, but likely clears everyone.
All of these fights would be amazing, I think that the beautiful thing about classic greats is that most of these guys would put up a real phenomenal fight against Ali. Just see the guys from the 60s putting up valiant efforts against him, Jones, Foley, Cooper, Mildenburger... There was just something about those old eras of heavyweights.

Depends on the formatting. Ali was lazy at this time. He’d likely fail to go 7-0 if he fought them all one after another. On his best night in this timeframe he should beat them all, sans perhaps a peak Walcott. Schmeling would also give him a pretty hard time.

1971-74 Ali beats all seven providing that he's in optimum shape as he was in the Quarry II,Norton II,Frazier II and Foreman fights.
Jersey Joe Walcott gives him the hardest battle but Muhammad outpoints him convincingly.
