I expect it would kinda resemble Foreman vs Frazier II

In a 15 round fight Frazier wears him out and stops him late,, Vitali ain't George Foreman and he won't have the stamina to keep up the pace Frazier would set.

Vitali wears him down and TKOs him late.

Vitali wins, too big for Joe and that style.

Too big. Stronger jab than Ali. Physically strong than Ali. Chin as good as Ali but 3 inches taller and greater reach which helps him keep Frazier off him.

I'd like to see ANY heavyweight deal with 15 rounds in the heat that the men of the 70's fought in though. Brutal.

I expect Vitali to have the least issues with 15 rounds from almost every modern day heavyweight. How fresh he still looked after throwing sometimes over a thousand punches in 12 rounds, makes you think he would be able to go 20.
Was that all natural? That's another debate... but going 15 rounds wouldn't have been an issue for him at all.

Telling me Vitali wasn't blowing out of his butt, same with Lennox after 4 rounds in their fight?

Clinching each other to death trying to get air lol

I might be biased basing it off that one fight though, I am not a Vitali historian & Frazier is no Lennox.

Frazier is all wrong for Vitali. Wlad’s firepower, wrestling, and other dirty tactics would be a nightmare for Frazier, but Vitali’s style involves a lot of backing up and fighting from a distance, which just wasn’t effective against Frazier. Vitali constantly backing up against Frazier would result in Vitali’s body getting wrecked and Vitali going on his back.

To get Frazier’s respect you have to muscle him and hammer him hard, since otherwise he’ll stick to you like glue and pound on you the whole fight.

I just don’t see Vitali having the firepower or using the wrestling tactics that Ali used or shoving Foreman used to beat Frazier.

Vitali is all wrong for Frazier. A small guy with little reach trying to get inside on Vitali while getting hammered hard and smashed over and over by that chopping right hand? Not good.

I can see Vitali being trouble, but saying he wins is mostly based on the size difference. Not class. Frazier's energy levels in '71 were off the charts. He ability and commitment to close the gap is something Vitali has never dealt with.

In this scenario it can be easy to underrate the power of the smaller man - it's what nature suggests - and you can reasonably say that Lewis' uppercut was a heavier shot than Joe's hook, but Frazier is going to spam his honey punch for 45 minutes. Plus he's not going to fall over at the first jab that comes his way.

Considering Vitali fought nothing like George, there's more reason to believe Joe is all wrong for the Ukrainian.

    Not vice versa.

But that doesn't prove who's the better boxer, it just proves who has more stamina, and boxing should never be about that.
The win should go to the guy who's more skilled, who can punch hard and fast, who has great defense, not to the guy who simply does nothing but has stamina.
Boxing matches should be 5 rounds max with both contestants going all out trying to rip each other apart
