...his name is Joe Calzaghe, he is born and bred in the USA and has an American passport. He fights the exact same fights with the exact same results as the real Joe Cazlaghe.

How many places has he just risen in the ATG lists?

How many anti-calzaghe threads have just disappeared?

How many people still claim he ducked Johnson, Pavlik and Dawson.

People should be able to judge and rank a fighter fairly based on their career nationality and popularity shouldnt be an issue.

Listen, this American knows Calzaghe can fight. The guy was an exciting fighter with great speed and quickness out of that Southpaw stance. He had good pop too before all his hand problems. I loved watching him fight and respect him greatly. Most of the issues of his career were Frank W's fault. The guy restricted what Calzaghe could do and if Joe had left him earlier there is no doubt he would have been better off. Anyone that says Joe Calzaghe could not fight doesn't know Boxing. :good

He would move up from the sort of 90-100 ranking to about 40 - 60

    90%

    4

That is about as close as I can guess.

If he was black american , they would be calling him the slickest fighter since Leonard.

for me the only difference i think would alot more would have known of him alot earlier on this side of the pond, his fights with guys like Brewer would have gotten much more attention and he wouldve been the favorite over Lacy and whatnot.
