Except that Foreman was bigger, hit harder than Weaver, had better chin, was extremely dangerous early, and Weaver was a slow starter. Not a good sign against young Foreman.

My thoughts, worth the $0 you pay for them :nut

• Holmes, decision. By 72, this was no longer FOC Frazier. Larry is better against fighters with a big left than with a big right, he boxes Joe, no clowning like Ali. All business, he should be ok.
• Ali, UD, easy, Dokes finds out what fast actually is.
• Foreman KO in 1, Weaver such slow starter plays right to George strengths; if by some miracle he could last a bit longer, it would get very interesting around the middle rounds.
• Coetzee, UD, or TKO. I don't think it would be that close actually.
• Lyle by KO
• Patterson, UD, Berbick not a big puncher, so Floyd's chin is safe enough, and he is much better in every other way.
• Page, not even close, unless he shows up doing his beluga whale impersonation.
• ****ey, K01
• Thomas UD, in a surprisinging difficult fight. Bugner not an easy mark.
• Norton UD, at this point, he was leagues better than Cobb, who doesn't have the punch to trouble a prime Norton.
