True, but when a poster refuses to be convinced that fighter A has more power than Fighter B at some point in time it becomes monotonous. But I guess that means when that happens it's time to stop responding to the thread.

Fun fact: Tyson has more one punch knockouts than Foreman.

Tyson will have to fight very strategically and tactically. He will have to gas Foreman out, make him miss his punches with his trademark Bob and weave, if Foreman connected I back Tyson to take his punches as tyson in how career proved he had a ***y chin which could withstand a battering from really powerful punchers for a decent number of rounds.

The question is can foremam deal with Tysons combos and 5-10 punch combos to the body and then head? Did foreman have a good chin?

The fight could go either way depending on how professionally Tyson prepared for the fight and which fighter fought the smartest.

    Foreman.
Styles make fights. Tyson would get slung across the ring.

You're either a child or an Idiot.

Foreman had THE heaviest hands in the history of the game, Tyson wields a fly swatter by comparison.

I think your gay for Tyson.

Tyson did not have a sissy glass chin like Lewis or Moorer. He could take a punch and the Douglas, ruddock, holyfield and Lewis fights prove it.

This is not going to be some walk over for George Foreman as people claim it will be. Tyson has more speed, more elusiveness, if he Bob's and weaves, makes Foreman miss with his punches, gasses him out remember foreman would tire and waste punches as well, he wasn't an accurate puncher like Tyson either, if Tyson throws ten punches I can guarantee you atleast 8-9 of them will land on the spot each with equally devastating force while George will be trying to land 1-2 heavy punches at a time.

Apart from this, people forget the mental aspect as well. Who will be more intimidated of whom? Tyson or foreman?

Oh and yes against really good fighters with really good chins, heart, hitting power in one punch alone isn't going to be enough, you have to do it in combinations and you have to do it consistently.

We already have proof that Tyson in his prime with Rooney was elusive enough never to get in the face with his Bob, weave and after Rooney, he had enough natural ability to take beatings from really solid fighters with strong punching strength for a good 8-11 rounds, so I don't believe the theory that foreman will take tyson out with one punch to the face, that is just not going to happen. Tyson in his worst conditioning, even when he mentally gave up fights never went down with one punch.

Question is how was foremans heart, will power and chin in comparison? He is not only up against a very strong puncher but he is up against someone capable to throwing 7-12 punch combinations to the body and upper cut head and someone capable of bobbing and weaving against attacks, upper cuts.

One thing is for certain if this fight ever took place, I would have loved to see the stare down, weigh in, trash talking etc.

I'm a big Mike fan..but..that monster that obliterated 'Smokin Joe' would crush Tyson, who IMHO is absolutely made to measure for Foreman. Pick a round! any round Foreman wanted & it'll be the 1st.
