Let's be clear here people, Ali did not beat George by outboxing him, he took an onslaught for 8 rounds before leaping out of his shell to take an exhausted Foreman out.

And Jimmy Young was anything but a classic boxer. Someone who is much more or maybe better than a prime Chris Byrd. Remember, a guy who Lennox never actually fought because the fight "might not look good"?

    Foreman in 5.

George could get off the canvas and continue battling...

    Lewis....once that trash was down...that was IT...:deal

    Foreman all day...

Oliver McCall was AWOL from drug rehab when he KO'd Lewis....
A crack-head could NEVER ko Foreman...

Foreman is mostly about power, but lennox is the better boxer

    Lewis wins.

Foreman would not want any part of prime Lewis or Holmes.

Lennox Lewis would have the style advantage.
    His chin is underrated.

foreman relied too much on his power.

Young Lennox was also a monster, if they were to brawl it would be brutal.
    Older Lennox would outbox foreman.

Depends on Lewis really in this H2H match up.

If I was putting money on it though, it would be Foreman by Mid rounds KO

Lewis more agressive than Foreman? Foreman was pretty much as agressive as you can get, he came out trying to take your head off from round 1, he also hit much harder than Lewis. Lewis occasionally would jump on his oppoents but most of the time he was boring and just jabbed his way to victory. Also Lewis was "meaner" really? than a prime Foreman? i want some of what your on.

Foreman is a terrible matchup for Lewis, i say Foreman KO from rounds 2-4

Lewis was no where near stronger, powerful and he definitely wasn't anywhere near as aggressive. I think the thread starter is talking about "big" George Foreman, not "Monk" Foreman.

Lewis can win if he stays disciplined and boxes for 12 rounds...if he tries to go to war or gets lazy on the ropes again, though, my money's on Foreman icing him. For Lennox to win, he has to fight the kind of "boring" fight fans'll ***** about later.

    Q+A: George Foreman

With the June 8 Mike Tyson-Lennox Lewis bout coming up, we grilled HBO boxing announcer George Foreman

    By Richard Deitsch

SI: Do you think Muhammad Ali owns a George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine?
Foreman: Most certainly. I've sent him more than one.

SI: You've been married five times. Would you recommend that course to all men?
Foreman: No. Once is enough -- and take your time. You're only ready for marriage after you hit 30.

SI: What's your pick for Tyson-Lewis?
Foreman: If Tyson comes in at 222 pounds or under, I give him the edge. I'll take him in a knockout. Three rounds.

SI: At age 45 you KO'd 26-year-old Michael Moorer. How would you do against a 26-year-old today?
Foreman: Better. If you hold on to your stamina and your legs don't give out, you become stronger. I'm stronger now than I was five years ago.

SI: What's the better feeling: cashing an endorsement check or knocking a guy out?
Foreman: Those checks come in handy. Knockouts, you forget real soon.

SI: Who's the best fighter in the world?
Foreman: Oscar De La Hoya. And we haven't seen the best of him yet.

SI: Do you taste all the food you endorse?
Foreman: That's the problem. Not only do I taste it, but I eat too much of it.

SI: Who hit you the hardest during your career?
Foreman: Ron Lyle. He hit me so hard, I had to watch it on film to know I was hit.

SI: Can a religious man be dangerous in the ring?
Foreman: Once a man dedicates himself to religion, he can focus on what he's doing. When I was young, it was hurry up and get out of the gym so I could go to a party. When I found religion, it became hurry up and get out of the gym so I could get to church.

SI: You love pigeons. Tyson loves pigeons. What's up with boxers and pigeons?
Foreman: Pigeons have this freedom, and I think everyone likes to be free. Touch their wings and you can feel the power of freedom.

George Foreman would smoke Lennox Lewis inside of 4 rounds.

The chin would shatter again. Lewis would have that scared and puzzled look on his face as he lay on his back and get counted out.

Foreman didnt want to fight Frazier or Norton but he did anyway and smoked them both in 2 rounds.

Prime Foreman would smoke Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes.
Holmes was dropped by Shavers late in the fight. Foreman would drop him in round 2 or 3 multiple times and the fight would be over.

Exactly. Mccall was on drugs when he beat Lewis. It's a fact. And he was on drugs worse and in 2 rehab programs 3 years later when Lewis wanted the rematch all of a sudden. And you can bet that Prime or Old Foreman wouldnt have been one punch KO'd by Rahman.
