Let us not forget that Old Larry Holmes beat the **** out of the Mercer who gave Lewis hell. After the Lewis-Mercer fight,Mercer wanted a rematch with all proceeds going to charity but Lewis refused. I wonder why?

Lennox would school Big Frankenstein and make him look more foolish than Ali did. Mismatch.

:lol::lol::lol: LOL at all these 70's Nut Hugger nostalgia ******s who think 70's George Foreman have a shot against the best SHW of all times.

Lennox Lewis went through a PRIME Andrew Golota in 20 seconds, a Golota who just beat the living **** out of American Legend Riddick BIG DADDY Bowe twice.
A Prime Golota can probably walk down 90% of Foreman's resume.:lol:

Lewis also had a far better chin then ******s give him credit for. He went through a long line of punchers and was only ktfo when he was not focused.
He will be focused against Foreman.

Lewis BOMB out SHW'S, Ruddock, Golota, Grant, he shows zero mercy. Foreman is a poor man's Vitali, a fat old shot Lennox actually beat the real Vitali.
Look we are not talking about resumes, in that regard I agree the 70's Boys got it all.

But the guys from the 90's were the most physically amazing of the HWs and they combined speed, size, and brute strength along with skills into one total package.

The 70's will do very poorly in any H2H situation against the 90's Guys or even K2.

I'm a big Lewis fan, he's my favourite heavyweight by some margin, but I think Foreman would give Lewis a very tough fight.

Foreman has all attributes that cause Lewis problems. Excellent jab, durability and power. If Bruno and Mercer's jab gave Lewis problems there is no reason Foreman's jab would be any less effective.

Foreman is not an inside fighter, he's effective with his punches from mid range and at a distance. He would not have to get all the way inside to land his shots like a smaller fighter like Tua, Tyson or even Holyfield.

Foreman would be extremely dangerous in the first half of the fight and would put some serious pressure on Lewis should Lewis try and stand his ground or jump on Foreman like he did with Grant and Golota.

In fact if Lewis adopted his aggressive tactics which he sometimes did against bigger opponents I see him getting KO'ed. Lewis would have use his greatest advantage, his mobility, to box and move, not engage at all and gradually wear Foreman down and stop him late.

Hard fight to call. I can't pick an obvious winner.

:deal Truly a fight in which Lewis would need to be on his "A" game early on, but if he stays out of a brawl for the first 7-8 rounds, all Foreman has left is one punch.

Foreman was just mean enough to land it, though.

Oliver McCall KO'd Lewis while he was AWOL from drug rehab:rofl

A crack-head's victim would never beat Foreman..

    Foreman beat an ATG....Joe Frazier...

    Who did Lewis beat????

You know you don't have to bash Lewis just to make your American fighter look better.
Especially since I recall you trolling Kbros by using Lennox's tko6 victory.

I think we both know why you prefer Lewis over the Kbros though, and it's not because he's better.

Mercer put forth a tough little effort, but Lennox won 7 of 10 competitive Rounds. Saying Mercer won against Lewis is just like saying Floyd lost against Castillo. Mercer did as well as Castillo did, go watch both fights.

I 100% guarantee you did not watch Mercer-Lewis and is just bullshitting. Lewis was hitting Mercer with 4 punch combinations mid rounds to the 10th, Mercer just kept coming forward.

Now in regards as to who Lewis beat?

Here's his resume. Dispute it as you will, boxing pundits and writers don't.

    Lennox Lewis
    Undisputed Champion
Only Modern HW to have retired with no unavenged defeats
Beat every man he ever faced.

    Some Notable Wins
Gary Mason- Huge under rated win for the young Lion.
Lennox only had 15 fights and he fought a undefeated champion in
Gary Mason. Lewis was a 15 fight novice and knocked Mason out.
Most 15 fight prospects these days are fighting Mall Cops

    Razer Ruddock
Took a semi prime Tyson to the deep end twice.
Tyson said 'Ruddock punch like a mule kick'. Ruddock was the most feared
puncher in the division and nobody outside of Tyson wanted him.
Ruddock dominated Phil Jackson and Gary Page prior to the Lewis bout and was considered a favorite. Lennox knocked him out in 2 rounds and effectively ruined Ruddock's Career.

    Frank Bruno
Lewis was behind on the cards, but like a true champion came back and knocked Bruno out.

    Dominated Tommy Morrison

Forced to fight in a tiny ring against Prime Ray Mercer, and couldn't move at all, but still clearly won the fight 7-3, according to most boxing experts.
Tough lil scrap, but Lewis prevailed.

    Andrew Golota
Golota was the original Klitscho, strong, big, tough, and just came off
back to back destruction beat downs of a semi prime Riddick Bowe.
Lewis was a big under dog. Golota was the 'next big thing'. Lewis knocked Golota out in 40 seconds.

    Shannon Briggs
Prime Briggs, Lewis slapped him around and knocked him out.
Vitali 10 years later, couldn't knock old man river Briggs out, and went the distance.

    Holyfield-
Dominated Holyfield. Won 10 Rounds to 2. Was robbed and the fight declared a draw.
Beat him again, in less stellar fashion the 2nd time.
Overall though Lewis won a total of 18/24 Rounds against Holyfield.

Holyfield had several 'prime stretches'. Against Lewis, he wasn't in his full prime but still elite.

Michael Grant-The next great hype. He was a 6'8 MONSTER, and HBO said he was the real deal. He was. He was big, he was strong, he was an athletic freak of nature. He carried all the hopes and futures of the American Heavyweight hope on his shoulders.
    Lennox almost broke his legs.
George Foreman even said 'WOW, WOW LENNOX DONE BROKE HIS LEGS'

    Grant was ruined.

David Tua- Massive Puncher, 2nd behind Tyson at the time. Surreal punching power. People said 'Tua's punches can kill you' and they could. Lewis toyed with him, winning 12-0. At the end, Lewis even made Tua hit the lamp post.

Mike Tyson- Ok ya, Mike was beyond shot, but he still had surreal one punch KO Power. In fact, I say Mike's one punch KO Power when he was older is STRONGER then when he was younger. Nevertheless, I admit Mike was shot, but Lennox was old too.

Vitali- Semi retired, old, fat,un motivated, and under trained Lennox Lewis lost the first 2 rounds to a Prime Vitali, but came back strong, ripped his face wide open, and had Vitali hanging on for dear life in the 6th after eating a old Lewis Upper cut (a prime Lewis would have followed that upper cut with a Roy Jones Jr like combo)

Doctor saved Vitali's career and life, ended the fight.
Tko6 of the '2nd best from the next era'

    Lennox had two losses.
    But realistically he had one.
He made the count for Mc Call. The ref was corrupt, even HBO said
the ref is corrupt. Lennox might have recovered, he might not have, but bottom line. He should have been given the chance.

    Rahman- Lewis was probably drugged.

It don't matter. In the rematches, he made Mc Call cry and killed Rahman with beautiful 1-2 combo.

Lennox avenged all his defeats. Like a true champion.

Greats can get off the floor and win...:deal

    Lewis couldn't do that:yep

Lennox was also SCARY....he fought Tua SCARED...imagine if he fought a prime Foreman....he'd **** himself...

    I agree with that 100%.

I'm not disputing that. You talk as if

    1-Lennox's resume is ****, it's not

    2- Lewis lost to Mercer.

I just think you over exaggerated. I agree with your posts, I just felt you over did the

'WHO DID LEWIS BEAT' and 'Mercer beat the **** out of Lewis'

he didn't. and Lennox got an ATG Resume, that's why people say he's an ATG...

Nothing against Lennox..he was damn good...

I can't say Lewis had an ATG resume...I just can't..

I do think Mercer won that fight..

Foreman would sleepwalk through Lewis' resume....

Lewis would SLEEP through Foreman's resume....on the canvas..
