Nice fight... unlike Tyson that night, Frazier had all the tools and know-how of how to work himself inside against a good jabber. Not sure who wins, but I'm betting it would be a great tactical fight with two very contrasting styles.

    Wow.

Did you watch Buster in that fight. He actually has every punch in the book and YOU KNOW, can actually BEND AT THE WAIST.

That was a great display of boxing that night by Buster. He had every move in the book, looked very fast and extremelly quick on his feet.

buster that night gets a touch overrated. watching the fight he wasn't quite as invincible as a win over tyson suggests. douglas was getting hit but it didn't matter cause tyson wasn't throwing combos, he was way to eager to brawl which would be murder against frazier, his movement against tyson was good but he occasionally went flat footed and simply he got sloppy against tyson a LOT. now tyson didn't take advantage but it doesn't mean the weaknesses weren't there.

i rate that douglas performance in the top 10 heavyweight performances of all time (at least that i've seen) but he wasn't anywhere near invincible. having said that, frazier was past peak at that point. still, his body attack was brilliant and that would wear down douglas and lessen his resolve. by the 10th, they're even on points but frazier is pulling ahead and douglas turns back into the version that "quit" against tucker. tough, tough fight but frazier takes it in the championship rounds
