That was a bit strange. How does someone miss the screaming opportunity to type “Post-George of the Jungle”? :D

1974 Foreman isn't comeback Foreman so his whole comeback is irrelevant in this matchup.

I don't think you understand Joe's offensive arsenal at all to think Joe has to stay upright and outwork him to win.

George Foreman probably 2-3 rds …. Joe Louis for his time atg no doubt but he didn’t move his head at all !!!! And foreman’s size and ramrod jab would just be too much for Joe Louis !!!!!

    OMG ... I mean, I just can't.

Again, Ron Lyle is the single most overrated human being discussed on this forum, although Jimmy Young is coming up on the outside, but to mention him even in the same breath with Joe Louis ... Joe Louis would pound Ron Lyle into jelly inside of 3 rounds.

Louis stops George about midway after a good fight where he feels George's power.

As usual, if they fought an extended series, George might get his hand raised once or twice.

This is one of the fantasy matchups that I’d like to see the most, it’s intriguing stylistically and bound to catch fire at some point.
Foreman could be tagged with straight punches and could be walked onto the backhand, which would be dangerous against Louis, but also Louis had flat feet, so he couldn’t just box and move, he’d have to gain Foreman respect because Foreman would go at him, so it’s a very dangerous fight for both.
