So what's Big George done to **** you off,Hydraulix ? Muhammad scores a shutout over George for however long the fight lasts. Maybe up to the halfway point. Ali's still blazing handspeed allows him to catch Foreman with nearly every punch he throws. After five rounds or so,George's eyes and face swell up as badly, and more quickly,as they did in his fight with Alex Stewart. I can visualise a compassionate Ali waving the referee in to stop the slaughter.
Hahahaha Stevie G's comment killed me this would be a genuine problem - if there were any mix ups on any of this the 2 Angelo's might start getting Back 2 The Future styleee fading hands symptoms - could be pretty scary
I think this is pretty accurate what would happen. Ali way to fast, but not as cruel as in his younger era. Thing what young Clay would have done in this fight.
Is this a joke? Micheal Moorer boxed the **** outta Foreman for 9 rounds in 94, and Tommy Morrison outboxed him in 93. Ali by WIDE UD.
The elder version of Dundee would go to any extreme to ensure his younger self does n't see his face ! Just like Doc Brown in Back To The Future II.
Nice post. :good Three knockdowns & an early KO? :huh That young Clay would need the monstrous raw power of Lennox, along with his own lightening fast combinations, to do that sort of destruction to Old George.
I did n't mean the precise way that he actually beat Archie,I'm thinking more of the pre fight verbals "George lived off the fat of the land but I'm hear to give him his pension plan" type of thing. I agree that even an old George's jaw would be too solid for an early ko.
Fair enough. :good I think Old George had such a granite chin, that only Lewis could stop him in the first 5 rounds, if we are taking about "Peak" Old Foreman from the '91 Holy title fight. However, if it was a mediocre unmotivated version of Old Foreman, like we saw against Schulz, Morrison etc... then Tyson should be able to brutally batter him to an early stoppage too, teeing-off with cruel combinations of crisp bombs.
I think Ali would pull it off nicely, as he did against Shavers when he was over the hill. But I do think George might land a good punch here or there.
Ali owned Foreman. Ali TODAY would beat any version of Foreman after Zaire, thats how bad Ali was in George's head.
