    Really interesting to hear Aaron Pryor giving his props here.

    Kinda puts to rest the issue Ray avoided him if he was kicking the crap out of him in sparring.

    It should have been put to rest when Pryor admitted after a match that he turned down an offer to fight Ray Leonard for what would have been his career highest purse up to that date. Of course he went onto make a ton of money against Alexis Arguello so one can hardly blame him. As Pryor himself put it, Leonard and Hearns outgrew him and he was not willing to go up in weight.

    But the keyword in your post is "Back in the day" they dont write as well anymore..
