    Who was the Best Heavyweight for each year from 76-84 and who was the best over the whole period, who was the most popular heavyweight in your oppinion, its a wierd era/time for Me because there was so many older and younger fighters, I will only be adding fights that mean something against top 15/20 fighters and I will try and keep it in this formatt and edit it as we go. here is 1976 and 1977.

    Jimmy Young got a dubious UD loss to CHAMPION Muhammad Ali and a UD Win over 7th ranked Ron Lyle in the rematch.
    Ron Lyle in one of the iconic fights of the era had a KO5 loss to ranked 1 George foreman, UD loss to ranked 3 Jimmy Young.
    Ken Norton started off the year with a TKO5 over top 20 Ron Stander and a dubious UD loss to CHAMPION Muhammad Ali.
    Muhammad Ali KO5 win over Jean-Pierre Coopman UD over 3th ranked Jimmy Young a TKO5 over ranked 14 Richard Dunn won a UD over 2rd ranked Ken Norton.
    Earnie Shavers a points win and a TKO2 over top 20 ranked Henry Clark KO10 over top 20 ranked Roy Williams.
    George Foreman KO5 over ranked 7th Ron Lyle, TKO5 over 6th ranked former champion Joe Frazier, and aTKO4 over undefeated John Dino Denis.
