Yes indeed Tony TNT Tucker (Avatar) was to have been on that flight, but missed it and took a later flight ... He always said God spared his life for some other purpose..

...that purpose obviously being to stink out the heavyweight division for over decade. The Lord worketh in mysterious ways.

I don't think tony stunk out the HW division. In fact, he was one of the best HW's of the 1980's. (outside of Tyson & holmes)

I'll never get Conteh's never ending butthurt with Tucker.

You don't like a fighter, that's great. Do you need to renact a scene out of the General forum and regurgitate it every time the words the 80's and heavyweights even come close to one another?

I have a tape of Tony fighting when he was just barely above 200 pounds. He was fast, and his skillset was tight. But that knee injury and drugs probably robbed him of what could've been a great career.Three amateurs who were top ranked that were on that flight were Andre McCoy( who, like Tucker, was a light heavyweight), Byron Lindsey, and Lemuel Steeples.
