Believe it or not I do think the same outcome. I do find them very similar in many ways but Duran's power would ultimately tell. They both too damn tough for their own good though, and that may be eithers' undoing.

great punch that wouldn't look out of place in a Tom & Jerry cartoon! How the hell he just got back into position and carried on defies belief.

This is why this ranks up there as my favorite Duran fight, and maybe even my favorite fight period. It's certainly the most impressive victory I've ever seen, especially given Duran's age, and that includes Duran's win over Leonard.

Yeh Iran said he really wanted to punish Duran for what he did to his best friend Davey Moore & he said no way does Duran beat me, he could'nt mug me if i was 100 years old & laid down drunk on a sidewalk:smoke

Duran. NOTHING Pacquiao has accomplished up in weight even approaches what Duran did against Leonard. CONTEXT. Skill, speed, power, size, ect. Duran is a superior technician regardless. No chance I could pick Pacquiao - who is genuinely pushing it a bit despite all appearances. Duran. was alot more comfortable at the weight.

The Duranimal? The one possessed spirit that tore Leonard up?

I gots Duran in that one, over any Pacquiao.

I'll take pac at 147 vs Duran who quit because he drank a sprite.

That's pac's only chance that he's got against Duran.

That's good point and it's somewhat over looked. Pac is a smaller fighter and so him lossing to Duran is almost to be expected. In some ways it's like saying who wins between Hagler and Duran, one would assume Hagler no necessarily because he's a better fighter, but he's certainly a great fighter who happens to be bigger. That said, when they fought, Duran gave even the great Hagler a run for his money.
