Tommy would not lose to Floyd. or Shane for that matter. Oscar either. Tito would have been the toughest for him, but I think he wins that one also.

It's too hard to imagine Floyd doing anything with someone has tall and powerful as Tommy.

Floyd is a defensive fighter anyway but he'd have no choice in the matter here. Tommy's jab alone would be a lot to deal with and then you got that booming right hand behind it, plus Tommy loved ripping to the body too.

I don't see any way Mayweather can win this, he might last the distance in survival mode but i can't see it.

Good point ! But, you def had to have something extra to qork your way inside and you had to be willing to put yourself at risk. That would be the problem for Floyd...

Tommy, for my money, is probably the greatest pure Boxer of all time. He could do it all.

Now, if you add into that some of the most vicious knockout power in that division, his jab, his height and speed... Damn, It's a long night for old Floyd!

Tommy within 7 (And i'm being generous with 7).

Not sure if I agree on one aspect of that, which would be Floyd's ability to work the body.

He was capable of subtle, sublime bodywork when the situation called for it.

Even late in his career against Mosley and Cotto, he had both of them gas due to educated, subtle bodywork.

His jab to the body is excellent and has worn more then one fighter down.

Partially playing devils advocate here. :fire

Hearns would win by second round kayo.50 Cent would be so distraught that he would end up carrying his loveboy from the ring.

Hearns blows Floyd away early. Awful matchup for Mayweather and Hearn's right hand will be the key here, and how he sets it up.

Jabbing, threatening, cutting in, winding up, feinting, body punching, the handspeed, two-fisted power, everything Hearns does will make Floyd more disorganised than we're used to seeing. Cotto and Mosley have both tagged him. I say Hearns hits him early starches Floyd.

Totally different levels and a nasty matchup for one. In a boxing match Mayweather has no chance either. Hearns would jab his head off.

I loved the Cotto fight. Floyd made me a fan again. But Hearns? No. Muangsurin? Yes.

It doesn't matter how he fights. Tommy is wasting him.

I agree. Not many guys can do what Hagler did. No other guy ever did. Some tried. I know Hearns fought brawlers who came at him full speed and he hit them and stopped them early. Floyd would not go at Hearns like Hagler. for sure.

Forget the Hearns right hand for just a moment. His speed, spearing jab and wicked left rip to the body are enough IMO to take care of the Welterweight version of Mayweather. Mayweather's a great fighter and I know he fougt at 154 the other night but he looked a tad slower to me.

His shoulder roll will protect him from the majority of the righthand WMDs but that rip to the body would be a problem. Did you notice that when Cotto threw his left and right hooks at PBF in the corner, Mayweather responded by shrugging his shoulders (and consequently his elbows) higher to protect his chin. this left his ribs badly exposed...however Cotto did not capitalise......I suspect Hearns would. Once PBF begins to worry about the body barrage, more and more opprortunites for the right hand would eventuate, although due to Floyd's chin, Hearns is no guarantee of a stoppage.

If you aint called sugar ray, you aint beating tommy at ww. It really is that simple.

The fight itself, I struggle to see floyd get stopped unless he's caught cold. More like is he loses a wide ud.
