    Hearns boxes floyd silly from the outside for almost the entire fight & knocks him out mid-late rounds.

    Terrible match-up for fmj, terrible match-up for anyone from 160 downwards really, dominant win for Thomas Hearns.

    The fight vs Duran was at 154- but when THAT Hearns shows up (a 'la the Cuevas fight at 147 or Hagler at 160) you have to throw back. You can't just stiff arm him or hide on the ropes.. he won't allow it. You have to throw back like Hagler did (and Duran and Cuevas didn't) or get KO'ed.

    Depends what you mean when saying `easy` tho doesn`t it ?

    For eg. I think Ray Robinson would KO mayweather eventually in the mid-late rounds, possibly without losing a round... but he would be made to miss badly at times & Robinson would have to keep full concentration in order to do enough damage to score the knockout.... does that qualify as easy ? :think

    I like Hearns and it would be early as in very early inside 5... Look, he is not going to fall for PBF`s bull**** stuff on the ropes. The reality is that Tommy wlaks him down and backwards while landing his jab, frequently ! Hearns right hand was frighteningly fast and accurate, need reminders ! Go back and wathc how fast he pumps in the finisher against cuevas. Cuevas reachable chin isn1t the point, but rather how scary fast Hearns can shoot that right on point is ! What you are all forgetting is that I don`t think it takes a bunch of shots from Hearns to do the trick... And as far as speed goes, Hearns jab is right there with Floyd`s. Did we also forget Hearns `78`` ` wing span ? height reach, speed and power, say goodnight PBF... Oh yes, and not a ref stops contest, Hearns leaves him a quivering wreck on the floor...

    you have Arguello as your avatar my friend. Of course you pick Hearns to mangle Floyd. All you guys think those 70s and 80s fighter would easilyl beat the great guys now!!!!!! Arguello.Hearns,Duran,Leonard would all struggle with some of the guys fighting now like Martinez,Cotto and Manny!!!!
