A couple of top posts there, Saad!
I’ll remove the Mayweather v Paz fight from the list and add Charlie “White Lightning” Brown to the contender list.

Fantastic thread, Jel! Such an exciting time.

We could perhaps add Greg "The Candyman" Coverson, Kenny Bogner, Alvin "Too Sweet" Hayes, Darryl Tyson and Ernesto Espana (
Kenty took his title) to the contenders list.

Another that got a teeny bit of press and perhaps hit the Ring 10 for a short time was Ruben Munoz Jr. Beat Frias and lost to Mayweather, Blake and Brown. Promising but never made it.

    Thanks mate!

Some deep knowledge there, JT. I’ve added all of them.

Didn't Watt have a lineal claim after O'Grady beat Hilmer Kenty?

Yeah, I suppose so… for about 2 months between O’Grady beating Kenty and Arguello beating Watt. That’s probably why I didn’t consider it but it’s a fair point.
