two of the biggest men I've seen

Can Riddick stand up to the power of "Gentle" Gerry or does he rip a hole in his a** in furious fashion?

Cooney is dangerous but Bowe has too much of everything for Gerry and stops mid rounds

Cooney is dangerous here. Very dangerous. But Bowe's class will soon show.

    Bowe KO8 Cooney

I think Bowes durability, inside fighting game and power break down Cooney for the stoppage. Gerry could punch and even box a bit. He might steal a few rounds but I think this is a bad match for him

Bowe would get stupidly hit with at least a couple of punches he shouldn't have, staggered a bit...then knocks the bejesus out of Gerry in 7.

Good fight because Bowe would allow him self to get hit and rarely ever faced a puncher. Look how many clean left hooks Michael Dokes hit Bowe with in a round 1 loss. He does that with Cooney and it’s disaster.

Bowe should KO Cooney in 2 or 3 rounds.

I'd pick Bowe but wonder what would happen if Cooney tested his chin.

Cooney would be by far the hardest puncher Bowe ever faced, I agree that Cooney is going to nail Bowe ,whether he survives, I don't know.

Both nail eachother and Bowe would be way more likely to survive

Bowe weathers the considerable early storm but ovecomes and exhausted Cooney around the tenth round mark.

Bowe has too much in his arsenal

Cooney is sold short a bit.

Its understandable because his career after Holmes was a disaster but on the night he fought Larry he really was something. He knew how to fight big, jabbed well, had a very good two handed arsenal and showed a big heart and toughness. I think Bowe would be pushed hard, hurt, maybe even dropped but would beat him down in the mid to late rounds.
