1981 Sugar Ray Leonard vs. 1989 Julian Jackson at 154

I think Ray could take a shot or two, and Jackson wouldn't be quick enough to keep getting opportunities.

Leonard would outclass Jackson and bomb him out.

Different level of fighter.

 

Leonard would be smart enough to know what sort of foe is in front of him and he'll play it safe to win a UD

 

It's feasible that Jackson would catch Leonard at some point,and score a knockdown. The Sugarman was durable enough, however,to recover from it. Aside from this I expect it to be all Leonard,and he would stop Julian within six rounds or so.

 

gotta go with the majority here and say Jackson ends it early by way of a clean knockout

Better men than Sugar tried and failed (remember Terry Norris with all his slick moves?)

 

I hate Leonard, but I just cannot picture a sane scenario where Jackson wins. His Sweetness probably is going to win inside eight.

 

My thoughts also. Leonard was a great fighter, but an even bigger *****.
