Camacho........TKO..........Bobby declined and slowed with too many wars behind him.

Camacho too slick, too quick, just all around too macho for the "schoolboy" ....I always liked Chacon, but that has to be one of the all times most frutiest nicknames ever.

Just think, Macho Man or Schoolboy....who you gonna pick?

Macho, by 5th round KO, or TKO.

Camacho way too fast of hand and foot. He cuts up Chacon and it is stopped on cuts, as Boza-Chacon II should have been.

Camacho by tko. By 83 Chacon was past his best. It might be the only year they could really have fought, so I understand why you say 83, but this would have been mostly one way traffic. Bobby and Boza and Bazooka Limon had beaten each other into very declined fighters, Chacon and Boza were in a good fight in 83 vs each other but that has no bearing on what would have happened vs Camacho. Better to compare what happened the year after when Chacon made Mancini look like a master boxer. Prefer Chacon as a fighter though, just wasn’t going to be him in 83.

No version of Chacon is beating prime Camacho.

I believe Camacho and Chacon were supposed to fight around 1983 but it never materialized and Chacon ended up fighting Boza Edwards. Chacon was already on the downslide and he arguably lost to Edwards that year. I think Camacho's speed would be too much for Chacon to handle at that point.

Camacho was too fast back then and Chacon was a cutter. Camacho with his fast hands stops him.

As Ex wrote I see no version of Chacon beating prime Camacho. Chacon in 1983? See Camacho vs Limon for my answer.

Macho Man runs circles over Chacon all day. It's a one sided UD for Camacho.

Chacon looked totally outta his depth when Mancini stopped him in early 84. I can see Macho Camacho doing the same had they met a few months earlier in 83 even though the macho man an Mancini had totally different styles. Now Macho Camacho vs Mancini in 83 would have been a far better matchup

Chacon would get brutalized in 83.

Another vote for Camacho. I think he’d stop Bobby too. As has already been said, it would resemble Camacho-Limon from the same year.

Younger Chacon loses by decision. 83 Chacon loses by ref stoppage.
