I agree and have made that point several times, Tyson looked very poor in the second fight especially.

 

-Because Ruddock had no problem dominating a Ring ranked contender and dangerous power puncher in Phil Jackson not long after the Tyson fight.

-I guess the effects of the Tyson fight didn't catch up with Ruddock until the Lewis fight.....:nut

 

You don't think Ruddock's survival in the Tyson fights had anything to do with him being able to clinch and muscle the smaller man at will and break up his attack. Ruddock ready to go in the first round against Mike...saved by his ability to tie up.

Ruddock tries to clinch his way out of the second...but the bigger Lewis won't have it; ripping uppercuts, pushing him off, and not allowing himself to be tied up.

Since he Retired in 2001 when asked about his Boxing career he stated his fights with Tyson took everything out of him and believed they also finished Tyson insisting both he and Tyson were never the same after those fights.

 

How nice of Ruddock to take credit for Tyson's decline and I would also try to save face if Lennox Lewis raped me. Watch the footage I posted above and judge for yourself. Tyson would have blasted out Ruddock just easily as Lewis if he was an aggressive giant that could muscle his way out of bearhugs.

**** you. Don't ever waste my time with your bull**** again. Yeah, Tyson took a long, brutal beating from Douglas where his eye was grotesquely swollen shut and he was knocked out....came back fine. But Ruddock lands a few sporadic punches...and Tyson is finished...I don't even think Razor believes that.

 

I don't think he took a dive but his head was not in the fight, he had already beaten Bonecrusher before and my guess was if he was right he could have done it again. And for the record I love Bonecrusher look at my name lol.. He had great power, ask Weaver, Bruno, Spoon, Holmes and Ruddock to name a few.
