    Well said. :good

Votes for Vitali by KO are downright moronic & exemplify how ridiculously overrated he is considering how bum Kevin Johnson & shot defenseless Briggs went the distance with him. Judging by his fight with the superior brother Wlad, I think Chambers would easily last the distance with Vitali too & Chambers is a poor man's natural-cruiserweight version of Tubbs, without the great rapier jab. Vitali would have a lot of trouble with the speed & skills of Tubbs, especially on the inside where he is a useless lump. Tubbs wins over Bonecrusher & especially Page are better than any of Vitali's from a H2H perspective. To me Vitali is a tier 2 fighter & would lose to quite a few fellows from that tier, such as Mercer, Ruddock, Bruno & Tucker.

    Tubbs UD.
I'd still say Tubbs UD if this was Peak Vitali from before his "Avoid Rahman" layoff, however personally I think he's barely faded at all.

I saw a 45 year-old Tubbs sparring with a 30 year-old Vitali about 8 years ago and he handled himself pretty well, to put it mildly.

As for a 1985 Tubbs against a 2010 Vitali, I think Tubbs would outpoint him clearly.

Tubbs was no great fighter mind you. Cocaine and the weight issue contributed to him being mediocre . Tubbs went downhill as soon as he won the title.

  4. sparring is not real fight. larry holmes dominated ali sparring in early 70s . do you think that holmes would have beat ali in the early 70s?
    :nono

    vitali would destroy tubbs...

Just like he "destroyed" Kevin Johnson?
A bum with inferior defensive skills to Tubbs.

I don't think Holmes "dominated" sparring.
Ali did let his sparring partners beat him up but he could have controlled holmes anytime he wanted

  7. it doesn´t demonstrate nothing , every fight is different

I wasn't basing my prediction on the sparring, just mentioning it as a note of interest. And it was a prime VK against an ancient Tubbs.

An old Vitali wouldn't destroy a young Tubbs, that's crazy talk.

  9. obviously... and ....i might think that vitali did the same thing.
get real tommy.. we both know that vitali would beat him

  10. well, i am a mad man ... but vitali would destroy tubbs just as tyson did.

Sure every fight is different but when we are predicting an outcome we have to base it on something real.
What exactly are you basing your claim that VK "destroys" Tubbs on ?

Yeah, because Vitali is just like Tyson.

  13. you are right, vitali is x2 bigger, stronger, he has similar hitting power, longer reach, better chin...

  14. well, nobody can say 100% what would have happened, but in my opinion vitali is too big, too strong, he has brutal hitting power, he has skill,he has a good chin, he has good stamina.. i base my prediction according that vitali is better than tubbs...simply

There is no way Vitali hits as hard as Tyson.
By the way we don't know how good his chin is really. He took a few good punches from Lewis but he also got decked by sanders.
