Biggs was a better boxer but not as good of a fighter as the men who generally beat Stewart when he was prime. Had good skills but not a great chin or a lot of power. Alex wasn’t an ATG hitter but he COULD punch and had a lot of heart. His chin wasn’t terrible but he had the tendency to cut and bleed. Who takes this ? Might as well make it for 10 rounds
I think Biggs' chin and heart are underrated. His tendancy to slug could led to his demise against Stewart, but I think he could have pulled a UD.
A good fight. I've always felt Tyson's surgical dismantling of Biggs through nothing more than a long harboured and matured malice was his most impressive, destructive performance. Biggs was no mug and Mikey played with him like a large, malevolent cat would with, well, anything smaller and more vulnerable than it.... Oh, and Biggs, by clear decision, he'd look like a poor man's Ali and jab Stewart's head off...
