Tyson, as Bowe throws another one of his beats in the trash along with his feces, because Tyson scares the "****" out of him.

Bowe wasn't prime until a couple years later.

Although Bowe had a terrific uppercut (important punch versus Tyson) and in-fighting skills, and respectable outside skills, it's just too hard for me to pick Bowe to win with a defense that shitty and a temperment like that, to always brawl and not have a controlled aggression.

Well, taking '92 Bowe as prime and not the '90 version...

The big problem I have with picking Bowe here is that, while he's got the tools to do the job, I just get the feeling he's going to want to be macho and slug it out with Tyson. And given Bowe's leaky defence, he's going to get hit with an awful lot of shots from a guy you don't want to take them from.

If Bowe could fight tactical, pump out his jab and circle, crack Tyson with the uppercut when he tried to close and so on, he could get a victory. I just don't trust him to do that, I don't trust his temperament up against someone he's going to want to knock out.

Tyson by stoppage for me, probably around 6-8.

Big fighters could easily tied up Mike Tyson, Mitch Green, Bone Crusher Smith. .

But....................................Mitch Green and Bone Crusher Smith.

None of them fighters, None! had the inside fighting skills of Riddick Bowe. A big man, big power that could throw serious combinations, and had in my opinion a higher work rate than Mike Tyson.

Riddick Bowe had a Jab, that could hurt you.

This fight goes 12 rounds, and i pick Riddick Bowe 12 UD. But it could go ether way.

cant call it...if tyson doesnt get him by rd 4 then Bowe might be able to take him...Bowe has the skill set to win but sometimes he stands and trades when he doesnt have to

Tough call, as a poster said before Bowes prime was 92 when he first fought Holyfield, Bowe beat a prime Holyfield that night. Though Holyfield dont have near the power of a prime Tyson, which could give Bowe some trouble if he thinks he could slug it out from the inside like he did with Holyfield. I think if Bowe stuck to his jab and threw an occasional overhand right, I think he could win the decision or late fight stoppage via Buster Douglas.

I think it will be a slugfest from the begining, with both men getting rocked a bit, but I see Bowe getting caught around the 6 round with a bomb of hook he didnt see coming, which would probably knock him out.

Silly thread..as it's long been understood that no heavyweight in their prime could beat an 86-88 Tyson..which brings me to the question of why pick a year? As if fighters primes are good for a year..So that means Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Marciano, and Louis to name a few would be down inside of 5 rounds. Yes mates except it..and this thread is Bowe vs Tyson...****ing idiot:-(
