Here's my list for the top 20 fighters, P4P, for the last 20 years. Tell me what you think.

    1. Roy Jones Jnr
    2. Pernell Whittaker
    3. Julio Cesar Chavez
    4. Bernard Hopkins
    5. James Toney
    6. Floyd Mayweather
    7. Oscar De La Hoya
    8. Shane Mosley
    9. Marco Antonio Barrera
    10. Felix Trinidad
    11. Prince Naseem Hamed
    12. Kostya Tszyu
    13. Lennox Lewis
    14. Hector Camacho
    15. Mike Tyson
    16. Erik Morales
    17. Joe Calzaghe
    18. Juan Manuel Marquez
    19. Evander Holyfield
    20. Michael Moorer

Close, but no cigar - Manny Pacquiao, Dariusz Michelcheski, Mike McCallum, Montell Griffin, Azumah Nelson and Meldrick Taylor.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

BUMP Gerald McClennan is definitely missing from that list, somewhere between 10-20.

In 1988 Tyson was P4P top 3. Possibly no.1 Prime Tyson is better than Holyfield and Lewis, but his resume isn't as good as theirs.

    Thanks for your input!

In 88 he KOed Holmes and Spinks then in 89 Bruno those are fine wins but thats it he had really no true great wins for the rest of his career im not sure how he ranks ahead of what Holyfield did in that span which includes wins over Tyson twice and im rather shocked you Morales alot lower then Barrera when there resumes are pretty darn close I agree with Barrera ahead im so me and you are alone here though cause Morales is in with the god group here on ESB Trinidad,Mijares,Pacquiao,Gamboa.

In my opinion switch Jones Jr. and Whitaker around. Toney and Hamed way too high, and I think Terry Norris could make it in there.

Beating Holmes and Spinks is, both by devastating KO, is by itself worthy of being on the list. Actually Michael Spinks probably deserves Michael Moorer's spot at number 20, he was a better light-heavyweight champion than Moorer in my opinion.

There really isn't a lot between Morales, Barrera and Marquez. I have Hamed high on the list coz even though he got beat by Barrera he was the dominant featherweight for 5 years beforehand, and one of the most talented fighters of all time.

Hold up then your thing makes no sense 88-08 how can Spinks in your mind now belong on there when he had exactly 1 fight in that 20 year span that he lost in 90 secounds. Michael Spinks is the greatest Light Heavy ever in my mind but ur thread says 88-08 p4p how exactly would he belong on there ?

 i was about to say that too..

...but then i got lost there for a moment as i wasn't reading the entire thread clearly, the bout took place in '88 and words was referring to tyson's win and not abut spinks being included in the list..

I'm staring to hate Oscar more and more. Would you please explain why he's ahead of Hopkins and Mosley?

nice overall list but i don't get it, as to why JMM ranks above pacquiao when it's pretty obvious that pacquiao has a better quality of opposition and overall resume than JMM..:huh
